Automation Test Engineer:

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in software testing, particularly in automation testing using Selenium, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and API testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up automation frameworks, executing test cases, and ensuring the quality of software products. Knowledge of the US healthcare domain is essential for this role, as it will involve testing healthcare-related applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Set up and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, Hybrid Framework) to support efficient and scalable test automation.
• Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) approaches to ensure test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team in a timely manner.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured to validate the functionality and performance of backend services.
• Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing as part of the software release cycle.
• Utilize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing processes and ensure faster delivery of high-quality software.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing and incorporate relevant tools and techniques into the testing process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the testing team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing. Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web application automation testing.
• Strong expertise in setting up automation frameworks and writing efficient, maintainable test scripts.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques, including RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
• Knowledge of the US healthcare domain, including regulations such as HIPAA, is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium) are a plus.
